Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper introduces ABOUT project concerning to a new problem solving paradigm. This project aims to realize a inference system, which can induct approximate solutions even if knowledge is incomplete and inconsistent. To achieve this, the project consists of research on a new logic system, which can compute reliability of results from incomplete knowledge, and a concept base, which contains huge common knowledge. The paper also presents details of an organization of our concept base and its construction method. The concept base provides similarity between two concepts for a given view point, and is constructed automatically without any human interaction.
