Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this papar,we discuss a rule transformation from the complete knowledge into the incomplete one for a consistency maintenance mechanism in ALDB(Advanced Logical DataBase) that handles the complete, incomplete knowledge. We introduce a rule form representation based on Autoepistemic Logic into ALDB and handle the knowledge with exceptions as the incomplete rule.As the central part of the consistency maintenance mechanism,we mainly discuss consistency checking and choosing rules that should be transformed. And we show that we can verify consistency of ALDB by checking the only complete knowledge.Unlike the conventional research in non-monotonic reasoning where incomplete knowledge is a priori given,we take a viewpoint that knowledge changes from complete into incomplete with a violation of consistency.
