Abstract(in English) This paper proposes how to implement the hypothetical reasoning for locating missing high cards in the game of bridge.Beginners′ k nowledge for bidding and leading cards are represented in the constraint logic programming language CHIP.Observation such as one′ s lead of the king of heart is given as a part of query.Then a hypothesis such as his possession of the ace of heart is generated by abduction and integrity constraints are checked by consistency technics in CHIP.This system based on beginners′ knowledge is as p owerful as an expert system for the same purpose.
