Abstract(in English) Requirement for communication services of communication networks for distributed applicafion processes becomes diverse as user′s re quirement for information network systems becomes advanced and diverse.Conventional system-oriented approach to developing information networks cannot satisfy the requirement,and application-oriented approach to developing them is getting attention.This approach to realizing distributed application systems makes application protocol larger and more complicated. This paper discuss the knowledge-based methodology and design support system based on it in order to develop diverse kind of and complicated application layer protocol.
