Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A view to extract the characteristics of a problem state is one of the important factors on problem solving, because the method of solving a problem depends on this selection of views. If a people who is solving a problem has a good selection mechanism for views, she/he could solve the problem easily and efficiently. we call this selection mechanism of views the view-hypothesis. The aim of this study is to design and develop a learning environment which supports view-hypothesis in hypothesis-testing typed problem solving. In this paper, we propose a problem solving model with the view-hypothesis. Then, we discuss the method of modelling the sets of view-hypothesis sequence extracted from students' solving process. Moreover, we describe the construction of a student model diagnosing system.
