Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In future multi-media era, a lot of services will be provided by service providers, and thus it will become much more difficult to make a plan of appropriate communication services suitable for customers' requests. For such a task, we have proposed the Intelligent Dynamic Service Provisioning (IDSP) system [10]. In this paper, we propose the adaptive real-time planning architecture based on the multi-agent system for the IDSP system. An agents is allocated to each terminal and each service provider. An agent gets a plan called plot, a hybrid of plan-as-program and plan-as-not-program, and break it down hierarchically. We adopt the blackboard model for hierarchical planning. A knowledge source of the blackboard model is designed as an agency composed of heterogeneous agents. The agency is modeled by the residue-driven architecture in order to prevent from breaking down non-necessary or inconsistent plots.
