Abstract(in English)	In many application domains, recently, the agent technologies and a new framework of information processing based on them (agent-based computing paradigm) are regarded as one of new technologies, and the research and developments of various agents and agent-based systems have also been started. The agent technologies may be an important technology for building the advanced information processing systems based on the rapid progress of both the computer technologies and the communication technologies. From a view point of applying the agent technologies, recent applications of agent-based systems are reviewed and also several current problems are discussed in this paper.
