Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a distributed vision system for navigating an autonomous mobile robot in a dynamically changing real world. The distributed vision system consists of a huge number of vision agents adapting to local environments. The vision agents acquire visual information for the robot from proper viewing points and support the robot working in the environment. The author calls environmental cognition by the distributed vision system Distributed Visual Cognition. |
