Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the knowledge representation method to realize the image understanding system that is independent of objects and that enables acquiring the knowledge by learning. This system can handle two different kinds of information: image and linguistics. On the other hand, the learning process depends on the particularity and the quantity of the knowledge. Therefore, it is difficult to decide the algorithm for image understanding. Accordingly, in this paper, we propose a new image understanding system that uses the self-organized knowledge by multi-agent. By means of using multi-agent with the distributed knowledge, it becomes possible that the system has high flexibility in understanding the image, even if the knowledge changes variously.
