Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is said that self-explanation which is behavior of explaining instructional material to oneself, is effective way of learning. However, it is not so easy for students to do such self-explanation. In this paper, we propose a framework for leading them do it. Especially we discuss the techniques to support student's self-explanations with multiple external representations. And we report the intelligent tutoring system that we have developed with the self-explanation supporting techniques.
