Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to develop an intelligent discussion coordinating system on distributed collaborative learning environment. To fulfill this purpose, we need to construct a model which enables the system to identify the state of collaboration among participants. In order to construct such a model we have divided internal process for generating his/her reaction to other participant's utterance into three phases by analysing the data of protocols during collaborative learning. And we have constructed Negotiation Process Model which represents a discussion process for making an agreement. Then we have considered application of our model to coordinating discussion process appropriately.
