Field Service Scheduling System with Cooperative Scheduling Approach

Abstract(in English) The building facility maintenance companies have to schedule a monthly plan that when and who will maintain, inspect, and construct elevators. It requires enormous cost, to schedule an efficient plan correctly. Our system, Field Service Scheduling System imports job data from the central manufacturing system, then decides a monthly plan automatically. A human planner can edit, the result interactively, then repeatthe automatic scheduling to schedule more satisfactory plan. When scheduling a plan, human planners use their own scheduling knowhow. Our learning mechanism can acquire human planner's scheduling knowhow from his/her editing process, then apply the knowhow to later plan in order to adapt our system to each planner. This cooperative scheduling approach can allow users to cooeprative with the computer system to be expected to spread our system to all branch offices smoothly.
