| 抄録(和) | 情報社会の発達、記憶装置の低価格化から大量データの蓄積が容易となった現在、蓄積された大量データに対して、企業戦略策定に有効な情報を抽出する技術であるデータマイニングの研究開発が盛んである。データマイニングにおいて重要な点としては、複数エンジンを用意し目的とデータ性質に応じた解析エンジンの使い分けと、並列処理技術による大量データの高速解析があげられる。本論文では、並列データマイニングシステムのアーキテクチャについて述べる。まず、データマイニングシステムに要求される機能を整理し、並列処理が必要な構成要素を特定する。次に、並列処理による高速化が期待される解析エンジンの一つであるMemory-Based Reasoning(記憶に基づぐ推論)について、分析アルゴリズム、並列化手法、並列性能を示す。 |
| 抄録(英) | Due to the growth of the information society and the dropping prices of data storage, companies are beginning to accumulate huge amounts of business data. This has attracted a lot of attention to the research and development of data mining, a technology for selecting useful knowledge from all data to determine company strategy. In data mining, it is important to provide a variety of analysis methods to enable users to choose one or more that best suit the purpose of their analysis and the nature of the data, and also to accelerate the analysis of huge amounts of data via parallel processing. In this paper, we describe a parallel data mining system architecture. First, we summarize the functions required by data mining systems and specify which components need to be accelerated by parallelization. Next, we emply a Memory-Based Reasoning analysis engine and explain the algorithm, the parallelization method, and the parallel performance. |
