Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The recorded magnetization on the single layer perpendicular recording media was estimated from the readback waves by approximating the MR head to two ring heads. The increase of the transition length of magnetization causes the recording demagnetization at high M.M.F. writing. The baseline shift of the readback waves of MR heads was studied. The baseline shift is caused by 3-dimensional magnetic field effects and varing the recorded magnetization between write bits.
