Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The 3-D maagnetic field analysis of a recording head is necessary to calculate the inductance and the magnetic field near the head in order to investigate the recording and reproducing characteristics. We have already developed software for analyzing the heads. The software has a problem that the number of elements becomes extremely large, when very narrow regions in the head are subdivided. In this paper,a method of automatic mesh generation is improved so that the extremely flat elements cannot be generated by introducing the mathematical programming method and coordinate transformation.
