Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The micro-structure of ion beam sputtered Co-C thin films were studied to realize the future low noise media. The as deposited films of which carbon concentration were more than 46 at% consist of granular structure of amorphous phase. Annealing enabled these films to transform to crystal phase keeping the granular structure. This procedure fabricates fine Co particles in 10nm diameter embedded by graphite, which is magnetically isolated granular structure. Co-C, granular, graphite, Co, carbide
