Spindlemotor for Optical video disk recorder

Abstract(in English) We have developed an optical video disk recorder using a φ120mm phase-change disk. We have attained 4.lGB storage data capacity on one side disk, and 27.3Mb@ps vido net bit rate. Bit length of O.32μm, land-groove recording (0.6/μm track width), and (1,7)RLL code and PRML have been adopted, therefore 3.3Gbit/inch^2 of the recording density has been achieved. In such high density and high bit rate recorder, low vibration performance of the spindle-motor is rquisite. Then we have analized vibration mode on the disk-machine, and improved the vibration characteristics. Then high quality optical video disk recorder has beerl attained.
