Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a method to estimate the positions of persons by a silhouettes method and identify the regions of persons among multiple cameras images. In order to detect and track multiple persons using multiple cameras, the occlusion and identification problems should be resolved. Applying the existence probability map to the voxels based on the silhouettes method, the proposed method can separate multiple persons in a room. In addition, the detected parts of the human regions can be identified by the correspondence to the result of the voting. In this paper, we describe the proposed methods, and the validity of the method is demonstrated experimentally.
