| 抄録(和) | 単眼カメラによって撮影された顔画像を用いて, 顔向き角度をビューベースの手法(部分空間法など)で推定する場合の教師となる角度ラベル付き顔画像テンプレートを, 因子分解法により作成する手順を提案する.さらに, 顔向きを効率的に表現する座標系を定義し, その座標系で定義される顔横向き度でテンプレートを分類することでカメラ位置に依存しない顔向き角度推定を行う方法を提案する.数値実験により, この方法で顔の横向き角度で分類した顔縮小画像の部分空間を用いて顔向き推定ができることを確認した.本報告の手法によって, 部分空間法で顔向き推定を行う場合に用いる部分空間の作成を, 自由に運動させた顔を撮影したビデオ画像を用いて行うことができる.また, 本報告で提案したH座標系を用いることで, 顔の動きについてまず鉛直軸回りの回転を重視し, 次に上下方向の顔向き変化を考慮し, 首を横に倒す動きは(視線が不変なので)無視することができるように顔向きを分類することができ, カメラ位置に依存しない顔向き角度推定を行うことができる. |
| 抄録(英) | We propose a method to make templates for view-based head pose estimation methods. The templates are labeled by their head pose using images from a single camera and the factorization. We also propose the H coordinate which represent head poses independently of the camera position. Numerical experiments show we make the templates by the subspace methods. This method enables us to estimate head poses using subspaces classified by an angle ψ (yaw) of the rotation matrix of H coordinate. Using the proposed method, the video images of moving one's head freely enable us to make the subspaces used for the head pose estimation. The H coordinate proposed in this report makes much of the rotation around the vertical axis, and enables to ignore rotations around the other axes. |
