Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In conventional correlation stereo methods, it is difficult that the accurate disparity is acquired in the case that a scene has occluded parts or slanted object surfaces toward optical axes, since constant window size is applied over the entire images. Therefore, this paper proposes a new stereo method that can not only cut occlusions but also estimate the appropriate window size by detecting same color series pattern and its length ratio of the right and left regions before it is adapted to a correlation method.
