Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to reconstruct 3D structures from a pair of images taken arbitrary viewpoints, the epipolar geometry must be estimated. The reliable estimation requires finding correct corresponding feature points and detecting the accurate locations. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for extraction of unambiguous corners or junctions from feature points on region contours obtained by color segmentation and estimation of those locations in subpixel accuracy by using maximum likelihood method.
