Abstract(in English) This article describes the progress of the standardization activities for evaluation methodology about facial image recognition system in Japan Standard Association. From the view point of secure information system design, Biometrics will be hopeful and helpful secure methodology. However, the evaluation method of face image recognition system in each system supplier was inconsistent and the standard method for accuracy evaluation was never defined. So consumer needs the standardization of the evaluation method. In this article, we report the standardization activity of our working group and we expect useful discussion for the standardization.
