Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method forobject recognition and its pose estimation using real-time serial range images. In this method, whole extended Gaussian images of target objects are stored in the form of date base as models of them and sub extended Gausian image from target range image is matched with above-mentioned whole extended Gausian image in the data base. Our method enables us to estimate pose of the target object at the same time of object recognition. Our method is verified to be prospective bysimulation experiment.
