| 抄録(和) | 本報告では、固有空間法を用いた口唇形状の認識により、ユーザが発話した単語を認識する手法について述べる。固有空間法を口唇の形状認識に適用する際、口唇の位置に変化があると、認識性能が低下する。そこで、はじめに色抽出法を用いて顔画像から口の位置を粗く検出し、次に、Eigentemplate法で精度よく位置を検出することにより、位置ずれの影響を低減する手法を開発した。本手法を元に、固有空間法を用いて口形状の時間的な変化を記述するシステムを構築し、読唇処理を実現した。本システムを、100語の単語認識実験に適用した所、69%の認識率であった。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper describes a lipreading system using an eigenspace method. The eigenspace method does not work well when a lip position varies. To reduce the influence of the lip position variance, we developed a method that first finds the rough position of a mouth using a color extraction method from a face image and then determines the precise position using an eigentemplate technique. Furthermore, we constructed an automatic lipreading system that describes the time variance of a mouth shape using the eigenspace method. An experiment shows that this system recognizes 69% of 100 words. |
