Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present a practical use scenario of MPEG-7 standard in the context of mobile video delivery application. MPEG-7 specifies XML-Schema based standardized metadata syntax for media description whose standardization work will be completed this October. A set of MPEG-7 elements for video segment and keyword description is selected from a number of metadata types. We show how these metadata can be used to make video digest depending on user's preferences or situations.
