Abstract(in English) | Image sensors are passive sensors and can observe a various kind of objects. Therefore it is considered as suitable sensor for ITS. In this paper, we mention the preceding vehicles recognition method from images obtained by host vehicle's front camera. Firstly, by using teacher images, we generate SOM which visualize vehicles'feature. Secondly, we compare regions of image with SOM to recognize vehicles. We apply proposed method to driving scene and show the efficiency. |
