A Proposal of SemanticWeb on Distributed VOD and Construction of Interface Using Synchronized Indication

Abstract(in English) In this paper, it proposes applying the concept of SemanticWeb to a video and expressing the metadata of the contents of a video with the standard language XML/RDF. Automatic analysis of the metadata by the machine is enabled by performing data expression by RDF. By this, registration and an addition of metadata are automatic, and are performed, and work of the registration and updating to the database by the administrator can be cut down. Further, since it was data form different until now, problem which has not shared knowledge data can be solved and knowledge in distributed environment can be unified. that is, a share of video metadata is attained. Moreover, the interface which displays continuously the video and the synchronized type interface which displays a video comment to the timing suitable for the contents of a video was built.
