| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes video processing supporting content production and a new broadcasting service for advanced digital broadcasting. First, the current situation of content management in a broadcasting station is made clear by introducing "Beatus" and "NHK archives". Next, as examples of video processing dealing with difficulties that those systems have, object extraction/tracking, face recognition and content based retrieval for video data are explained. Finally, an object-based video database system and object-based data broadcasting are proposed as new applications of those video processing. |
