A Technique of Projection Pattern Optimization for 3-D Image Measurement

Abstract(in English) Although the 3-dimensional image measurement based on pattern projective technique is used well, it is difficult to get a high-speed measurement since two or more projection is required in order to realize highly-accuracy measurement. This is the cause that the amount of information in the projection pattern is little. If the amount of information that a projection pattern includes can be increased, the number of times of projection can be decreased. In this work, the intensity modulation projection technique, which can measure more fringes by one projection, is used. In order to improve the accuracy of measurement of each fringe, the evaluation function, which became with fringe intensity, is made, and the technique of determining the fringe intensity of a projection pattern, which will make the value of an evaluation function into the maximum, is proposed. By this method, the accuracy of measurement can be raised, the time of measurement can be decreased, and a high-speed 3-D measurement can be realized.
