Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is neccesary for the study of human organs which perform its function with periodic deformation such as lung to analyze four dimensional data. Every organ has the vessel network/ Branching points in the vessel network are suitable for marking point for non-rigid registration in lung. We present a method for precise localization of branching points of three-dimensional(3-D) tree structure and its graph representation. Y. Zhou et al reported the method for detection of branching points and graph representation. However, almost all branching points which is detected by the method get out of true position. We propose a method to localize these branching points using local information of the graph which is obtained by Y. Zhou et al method. We confirmed that the localized branching points were well positioned around true branching position without depending parameter and target pose in our experiment using simulation images.
