Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes an improvement due to stabilization on a technique for estimation of endoscopic distortion parameter. The previous technique estimates sequentially all of distortion parameters. In this study, applying the other technique with cross ratio on the previous technique, we separate distortion center and polynomial coefficient on processes of the parameters estimation. This not only improves a robustly of the estimation, but also removes the necessity for extensive threshold parameter tuning. Increased the number of the polynomial coefficients the behavior of estimation becomes unstable for not normalizing on the distance the evaluation function of the technique. The evaluation function was normalized, and the technique was further stabilized.
