| 抄録(和) | 本研究では,色の対比に注目して情景画像に存在する目に付きやすい文字列の抽出方法を提案する.情景を理解する手がかりとして,より重要な情報を優先的に取得しようとするとき,文字は意味を迅速かつ的確にとらえることが可能である.情景画像に含まれる文字には,観測者に自らの存在を積極的に知らせるために,配色について考慮されていることが多い.このような部分は,特に重要な意味があるといえる.そこで,色の対比現象の強い文字に注目して,文字列抽出を行う.実験の結果,情景画像に含まれる色対比の強い領域から,重要な意味をもつ文字列の抽出が可能であることを確認した. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we propose extraction method of character strings from scene image based on feature of color contrast. To understand condition in scene, characters in scene image are the most important information. Especially, important words are intensified by color scheme compared to other words. This effect is said "color contrast". Therefore we use the feature of color contrast to extract important words. Experimental results show that regions which have strong feature of color contrast intend to include important words. And the results show that character strings in scene image are able to extract these regions. |
