A Study on Improvement to On-line Box-free Handwriting Character Recognition

Abstract(in English) This paper describes an improvement to on-line box-free handwriting character recognition using supplement of characters from word dictionary when correct characters are not included in the recognition candidates. Simple supplement of characters only from word information causes recognition errors. But using evaluation of stroke information of handwritten character, we can reduce recognition errors and improve box-free handwriting character recognition accuracy.
