Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, a new tracking feature point selection method for template matching is proposed. The upper bound of the average template matching error is derived and used as the feature selection crieteria. The computer simulation results show that the matching error of the features selected by the proposed method is smaller than those of the other methods. The application of the upper bound to the template size selection is also discussed.
