Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The FAVRET (FAce Video REcognition and Tracking) prototype system developed by the authors uses deformable templates computed from multiple views to achieve simultaneous pose estimation and pose-invariant face tracking and recognition. We descrive modifications to the database structure and the matching process which have improved system performance, and discuss methods for registering novel individuals in the database.
