| 抄録(和) | パターンスペクトラムとは、ある基本形状が対象画像中に「どのようなサイズでどのくらい」含まれているかを定量的に記述するものである。われわれは、これをテクスチュア画像の解析に応用し、各サイズに対するパターンスペクトラムの値の分散を評価関数として、パターンスペクトラムを計算するのに用いる構造要素の形状を最適化することで、その形状によってテクスチャを構成する基本形状を抽出する方法を提案してきた。今回の発表では、いくつかのテクスチャ画像からそれぞれを構成する基本形状を抽出し、似たテクスチャの組に対する基本形状間の距離と、異なったテクスチャの組に対する基本形状間の距離を比較することで、本手法がそれぞれを識別でき, テクスチャ特徴抽出の指標として有効であることを示した。また、分散最小化基準以外の評価関数を提案し、その能力を比較していずれも識別能力があることを示した。 |
| 抄録(英) | The efficiency of the pattern spectrum analysis method for texture classification is investigated in this paper. The pattern spectrum is a mathematical morphological method to describe the size distribution of objects in an image. We have proposed a method to extract the shape of an elementary particle of textures by optimizing the structuring element to reduce the variance of pattern spectrum that is calculated using this structuring element. In this paper we showed the texture discrimination efficiency of our method by comparing the distances between structuring elements extracted from similar as well as distinctive pairs of textures. Other evaluation functions than reducing the variance of pattern spectrum are also compared. |
