Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As one of the ITS(Intelligent Transport Systems), image processing is widely used in the road traffic surveillance. In the conventional methods, it occurs that one vehicle occludes another one for the observation with a single viewpoint. It is difficult to detect the occluded vehicle. On the other hand, the cameras are not always placed at the desirable location for the road traffic surveillance. Then, on condition that the road manager may place cameras as freely as possible, we propose a method to extract vehicles with multiple views. Even if the occlusion occurs with one view, occluded vehicle is extracted with another view.
