| Abstract(in English) | PRPR Working Group in the Special Interest Group of Pattern Recognition and Media Understanding IEICE Japan initiates to edit a series of survey papers on pattern recognition from view points of foundation, algorithms, and implementations. The SIG PRMU is originally founded as the SIG Information in early fifties. We evaluate the state of arts of pattern recognition and organize an open forum for the discussion on the new trends and perspective of pattern recognition in the future. |
