Personal verification using correlation of score sets calculated by standard biometrics data

Abstract(in English) In the personal verification using biometrics such as fingerprint and face, it is very difficult to reduce the error rate to zero because biometrics data is unstable. Although many methods have been proposed to decrease the error rate, the conclusive method has not be found. We proposed a new method of personal verification using correlation of score sets calculated by standard biometrics data. When enrolling, the enrolled score sets between the pre-determined standard feature data and the enrolled one are calculated. When verifying, the verified score sets between the pre-determined standard feature data and the verified one are calculated and the correlation between the enrolled score sets and the verified one are introduced as a criterion function of personal verification.In this report, the experimental results using a thousand of fingerprint data and the consideration are shown.
