| 抄録(和) | 遮蔽・ハイライト等に関してロバストな画像照合を実現する選択的正規化相関法を提案する.本手法では, 照合画像間における増分符号相関の統計的特性を利用することによって, 明度値の相関関数により大きなロバスト性を付与することができる.すなわち, 増分符号相関値の期待一致率が, 遮蔽領域では50%, 非遮蔽領域では50～100%となることを利用して, 符号が一致しない画素はマスクして明度相関への影響を低減させ, 符号の一致する画素の明度値は選択的に用いて相関計算を行う.このように照合のために有効な領域を統計的に選別して相関計算に用いることにより, 高いロバスト性を得ることができる.計算速度も従来の正規化相関と比較して低く保つことが可能となる.また, 更に高いロバスト性を得るために, マスクの拡張手順を提案し, 遮蔽領域を常に7割程度マスクすることに成功している.本論文では, 理論的考察および実画像を用いた実験により手法の有効性を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | We propose a new method for picture matching called 'Selective Correlation Coefficient (SCC)' in order to obtain robustness when ill-conditioned illumination or partial occlusion occur. SCC generates a correlation mask for each pixel before matching. The mask can be derived from the binary-coded 'Increment Sign' between a object picture and a template picture. The masking rate of occluded regions is theoretically expected to be 50%. On the other hand, un-occluded regions have the possible rate of 50% to 100%. We realize much robustness under ill-conditioned environment since precise knowledge of un-occluded regions can be obtained by the masking operation. We propose, furthermore, the mask expanding procedure to get more robustness. The effectiveness of precise masking increases by the procedure, resulting the rate around 70% of masking of occluded regions. This paper includes a theoretical modeling and analysis of the proposed method and some experimental results with real pictures. |
