Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since any feature movie is made out of its script, so it is natural to do the retrieval within the script first. Because we can get some keywords such as the location, characters, or their lines from the script. But how to further search on to the corresponding part of the video media is a problem, since the movie and its script are not synchronized. As one of the solutions of the problem, we hereinafter proposed a movie annotation method based on DP Matching (Dynamic Programming Matching) algorithm and present a video-movie-annotation system based on this method. The results of the implementation detailed in this paper show the reader the effectiveness of the system and validity of this annotation method.
