Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In an ortho-image, by recovering 3D information from multiple images, objects are projected orthogonally onto the image plane. To evaluate the difference between the real shape of an object and the model (e.g., CAD model, previous measurements, etc.) quantitatively and visually, the ortho-images are needed in the field of close range photogrammetry (e.g., industrial production and civil engineering). However, existing ortho-image producing techniques are based on aerial photogrammetry, they cannnot be applied for the objects in close range photogrammetry. In this article, to solve this problem, a 3D measurement method in close range photogrammetry is proposed. The proposed method assumes that the model of an object is known, and this method applies DLT method to orientation, voting method to 3D measurement, and bundle adjustment method to orientation and measurement iteratively.
