| 抄録(和) | OCR技術が発展した今日でも, 印刷文書を誤りなく電子文書に変換することは一般に困難を伴う.本稿では, この問題を解決する新しい手法として, 電子的に作成される印刷文書を対象とし, 印刷時に電子文書復元のための機械可読データ(電子文書の全文データ)を同時に印刷する手法を提案する.本手法の特徴は, バーコードなど人間から見て無意味な模様は使用せず, 会社のマークなどを印刷文書の地模様として印刷し, それにデータを埋め込む点にある.これにより, 文書の外観をあまり悪化させずに, 大量のデータを埋め込むことが可能となる.B5文書1ページを対象とした予備実験の結果, 約8KBのデータを埋め込むことができ, また埋め込んだデータの98.6%を正しく復元できることがわかった. |
| 抄録(英) | In general, it is difficult to transform printed documents into electronic ones though sophisticated OCR's are available in recent years. In order to solve this prolbem, we propose a new method of emdedding and recovery of a large amount of data for printed documents. Our method is characterized by the point that the data are recorded in stippled arbitrary marks printed on the background of a printed document, which serve just as background patterns for humans. This enables us to record a large amount of data without deteriorating the appearance of a printed document. From the preliminary experiments, we have confirmed that the method is capable of embedding about 8KB of data, as well as recovering 98.6% of embedded data. |
