| 抄録(和) | 本報告では、組み合わせ特徴量のアプローチに基づく新しい識別法であるTest Feature Classifiersについて述べる。この識別法は「テスト」および「プライム・テスト」と呼ぶインスタンスが十分に分離できる部分的な組み合わせ特徴量に基づき、入力未知パタンと、登録されたプライム・テスト群との一致に基づきスコアを計算し各クラスへの投票を行う。最大スコアをもつクラスを識別結果とする、というノンパラメトリックな方法である。これまで特徴量がバイナリ型で表現され、特徴量のみかけの長さが増加し学習・認識における計算コストがかかるためより多くの特徴量が使えないという問題があった。そこで今回は、一般の特徴量をも扱えるように拡張を行った。また、データベースを用いた衛星画像の分類問題に応用し、古典的な識別法であるベイズ識別法やk-NNとの比較実験の結果より提案した識別法は一般の特徴量を用いても有効であることが確認された。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper describes a new pattern classifier using an approach of feature combinations called Test Feature Classifiers. This classifier is non-parametric consists of two main procedures: test extraction and voting selection. Test or prime-test is a local combination of features, which sufficiently distinguishes the given training classes. An unknown pattern is recognized by voting to each class based on the prime-tests, then the class which gets the maximum score will be the result. It was designed for features of binary patterns. However, there was a problem where we could not use long binary patterns because of increasing the processing time of learning and recognition also. In this paper, we extend it to handle non-binary or integer features, and apply it for classification of satellite images from a database. The experimental results show that the proposed classifier has better performance than the conventional ones, even using popular features. |
