| 抄録(和) | 本論文では医用画像の計算機支援技術 (CAD) の現状を概観し、今後の動向について論じた。医用画像の計算機診断に関する研究は比較的長い歴史を持つが、現在の研究の主流はがんのスクリーニングを支援することを目的にしたシステム開発である。その中で、X線像を用いた乳がん、肺がん、胃がんのスクリーニング支援システムに関する研究が極めて活発である。本論文ではそれらの技術を中心に CAD の現状を示した。また、これらのシステムの一層の高度化に必要な課題について述べると共に、医用画像の三次元化やその時間変化をも含めた四次元化が進む中で、仮想化内視鏡などに代表される CG や仮想現実感などとの結合による新しい支援技術の動向にも注目し、今後の発展の方向について述べた。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper gives a comprehensive survey of the state of the art of Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) of medical images and its technical trend in the future. The history of the study on CAD is long. The majority of the researchers focused their efforts on the development of CAD systems for screening of breast, lung and stomach cancers using X-ray images. This paper shows their system performance and the problems to be solved for revolutionary improvements. The utilization of 3D and/or 4D medical images will be given much more weight in the clinical diagnosis of the next generation. New CAD system based on CG and virtual reality techniques like virtualized endoscope system can be expected to develop novel application areas. This paper also gives such technical trend. |
