Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Independent Component Analysis (ICA) has recently been applied to biomedical researches, e.g. functional MRI (fMRI) or electroencephalo graphic (EEG). Although the ICA can be successfully used in separating mixed sound sources or intentionally superimposed images, whose sources and their number are known, the availability of ICA for the fMRI data analysis is still unknown. In this paper, we test some ICA algorithms by using simulated fMRI data in order to develope the efficient technique of fMRI data analysis.
