Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a method of tracking the target with 3-D motion. The target state(position, posture, motion)is reliably estimated by using the shape of the target region in the image in addition to optical flow and depth. The target region is accurately extracted by integrating the optical flow and the depth. When the target state cannot be determined uniquely, the possible state candidates are generated, and the correct target state will be determined based on the consistency with subsequent observations. Results of experiments with real image sequences show the effectiveness of our method.
