Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To attain smooth human interaction, we propose a system which simultaneously utilizes the stereo disparity and optical flow information of real-time stereo gray multi resolution images to recognize objects and signs. In this system, attention regions are recognized by higher-order local autocorrelation features and a linear discriminant analysis. However this method is a view based method, the system learned only front images of the objects and communicated with users. Therefore, we added cameras on the right and left side and realize more robust and exact object recognitions.
