| Abstract(in English) | We propose a quick search method that can locate a given audio and/or video key in a long time audio/video recoordings.This task can be done, in theory, by pattern matching for the images, acoustic spectrums, or waveforms, but in reality such exhaustive methods require intractably huge amount of computation.Our method, called active search, takes advantage of the algebraic constraint of histograms and thus the computational load is far lighter than that of the existing methods.In addition, visual search and acoustic search can be handled in a unified framework in our method. |
