| Abstract(in English) | We have developed a user interface for content-based image retrieval in order to visualize the relation between the retrieved images. The principal component analysis is applied to the retrieved images and a user can select two axes from the eigenspace. And the interface displays thumbnail images of the retrieved results in the 2-dimensional space. By using numerical experiments, we compared our method with a method where the principal component analysis was applied to all the images in a database. The experiments showed the validity of our method. |
